With more than 25 years of experience in education, Peggy Cardenas-Ortega is a passionate Early Childhood Educator, teacher trainer, and childcare leader dedicated to helping educators grow with confidence. Her career has included roles as a preschool teacher, principal, childcare manager, and trainer, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities educators face every day.
Drawing on her experience in both Mexico and Canada, Peggy creates interactive, bilingual (English & Spanish) workshops that provide practical strategies participants can apply immediately. Her mission is to empower educators and organizations through engaging professional development that strengthens teams, enhances learning, and creates lasting impact for children, families, and communities. How is, how was, and how are…
As a single mother, my mom worked tirelessly from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, while spending her Saturdays teaching extra classes and mini-courses. She did this to ensure her students passed their government exams and to provide graduated teachers with essential tools to better understand how children learn.
While she worked hard to support the two of us, her career was always fuelled by a deep passion; she genuinely loved working with children and understood their needs—not just didactically, but emotionally.
Wanting to make a lasting impact, she went on to design specialized training programs for aspiring teachers, ensuring that future generations of children would have amazing educators.
She loves her profession deeply, but beyond her career, she is a truly compassionate human being dedicated to helping anyone in need. It is this unique blend of warmth, dedication, and passion that has guided her to create this space.
